I know what you mean. What really gets me is people who find a way to download programs that aren't made by the big companies, but by people like you and me who are out to make a buck. But what's worse is when people steal something and then freely distribute it to everyone else.

So no, being a pirate isn't cool. Unless you dress in era clothing and go around saying "Avast!" but that's the other kind of pirate, not the one that's popping up everywhere now.
